Some of the artwork on EByAi was made by other people and shared under licences that let us use it. This page names it and links the licence, which is what those licences ask for in return. Everything else — the question bank, the explanations, the design and the code — is our own.
01Animated avatars
The animated creature, emblem, nature and food avatars are from Noto Animated Emoji, made by Google and shared under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0).
- Project: googlefonts.github.io/noto-emoji-animation
- Copyright © Google LLC.
- Used unchanged, resized for display. Nothing has been redrawn.
The animated people avatars are from LottieFiles, used under the Lottie Simple License, which permits commercial use and does not require attribution. Credited here anyway, because the people who drew them deserve the line.

All of them are offered only as a profile picture inside EByAi, never for download.
02Illustrated avatars
The illustrated avatars are generated by DiceBear. DiceBear's own code is open source (MIT), and each art style carries its own licence from its original designer — the styles we offer are used under the terms DiceBear publishes for them at dicebear.com/licenses.
03Pictures you upload
A profile picture you upload stays yours. We display it on your profile and next to your posts and leaderboard entries so other students can recognise you, and nowhere else. You can replace or remove it at any time from your profile, and removing it deletes the file.
